We never really appreciate what we have sometimes until it is gone

especially our health. Sometimes we have to walk that path of loss so we can learn to BE in each moment and not in the past or the future. This way fear can never find us so we no longer have to worry about anything.

So true. The grass is never greener on the other side - it just looks that way from a distance.

Total agreement here
you might have guessed that I can be a bit of a dreamer too, but I have learned certain devices to ensure I remain in the moment at least most of the time and remember to count the angels in my life and not the devils.

Absolutely true my friend!
This has been my motto for a very long time and has served me well; live in the moment, be as happy as you can, be grateful for what you already have and everything else falls into place; many blessings and thanks; have a magical holiday season and enjoy
