I am not smart enough to get into scientific beliefs of man, but then God's word is not to be discerned as a science. His word must be spiritually discerned. Blessings!

WHAT ARE SONS OF GOD?
Hsa 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye [are] not my people, [there] it shall be said unto them, [Ye are] the
sons of the living
God.
Jhn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God
This can be a confusing term, if we accept the traditional idea that in the Old Testament "sons of god" referred to angels, as might be inferred from the book of Job in particular.
In these verses, it refers, first, to the "children of Israel", then to those "led by the spirit of God".
Sons of god can refer to men. I contend that that is what the Genesis verse is referring to. Jesus said, (per general interpretation) that angels are sexless (Neither marry nor are given in marriage).
So the question is here -- how come some angels are sexless and others inseminated women?

Re: or the offspring of fallen angels
and you can see this same tactic illustrated in the slaughter of the innocents by Herod around the time of Christs birth, albeit much more rushed, cruel, and desperate.
Satan attempting to abort Jesus Christ.

or the offspring of fallen angels
mutations, Abominations.
Satan attempting to nullify the prophecy spoken to him by God in Genesis 3:15 by polluting the very seed by which it was to be fulfilled.
Futile.
