far out i knowwww! just a bit of advice, keep in mind all babies are different, but the more they sleep during the day the more they sleep, sleep is like a drug for them. you may think that by keeping them up for long this will make them sleep but it doesnt they just get over tired and not sleep properly. and yes how many times i thought if my baby wasnt so cute id have chucked him in the bin, its the only thing that saves them..

There's a rule about mothering...
when baby sleeps, you sleep. Otherwise sleep deprivation will get you. Turn off the phone, let voicemail help.
If you don't already do this, start using the crockpot - it cooks while you do something else. You can wrap a few potatoes in foil, leave them to bake all day on low. No water.

Hang in there. and yes I knew immediately that you are a first time Mom
Hey You're not spoiling him by keeping him near you not while he's so tiny and alone. Second children can sleep with a sibling early cos it's company but he needs you like you need him. Two or three more months anyway. When he can sleep through the night it all gets easier. He sounds just delicious and I would love a granny cuddle.

Well, my mother certainly seems to enjoy being a grammy! And of course, Sucky is such a little angel whenever he's over at her place...never even gives a hint of a frown. He's totally playing her...lol

Fledge,
I just left you a comment then my computer crapped out on me. In a nutshell, I TOTALLY hear you on this. Mariah is almost 1 1/2 old and I'm discovering new patience levels within myself! Those times when you're just on the brink of complete insanity but then they look at you and smile with such love and adoration. Makes it all worth it. Hang in there. I'm here for ya...we can be "new mommy-buddies!"

LOL...yeah, TAPS, there is that.
But for all the trials and tribulations, I wouldn't trade it for pre-baby days.

I'm always reminding myself of the women who have multiples. Mine is just one..lol

What a wonderful thing it is to be a new mommy (in spite of the fact that one's life has been turned completely around and upside down).
