The 'Siren call of Blogit' doesn't quite have the same ring as 'the Siren call of the Sea,' TAPS, but I know what you mean.

it does... even though I have been gone forever... BLOGIT
would always" creep" into my thoughts... at one of my two jobs... classes... when adopters are over. Now that I can maybe spend more time here.... THE "creepiness" will waver away....

How did I miss that with it being right at the first of your post?
Did you add that later? If so, thank you for bringing it to me.

Re: Blogging is my white whale....
metalrat, I hope Blogging doesn't "dismast" you and bring you "to a dead stump", as the white whale did Captain Ahab. But, then again, that would give you something interesting to post about. LOL

Blogging is my white whale....
...that, like Captain Ahab said,
"He heaps me!" lol
And I'll probably die going to the depths saying
"From hell's heart, I stabbeth thee!" lmao
Sorry, I had a moment.

Re: Fascinating and funny and ...
ggXpress, I am in the habit of getting sea sick in a boat/ship (oh wretched woman that I am), but I love being on the shore watching the sea with its sailing ships.

The ebbing sounds "Come to me,
come to me, come to me." beckoning through its reverberations is so wonderfully put. Outstanding!

Out of the sea we came, and while we have left it, it has never left us, but surges in our blood, forever beckoning...

You're right. Sometimes blogging is more or less
flotsam and jetsam. Bits of polished glass, unusual rocks and reminders. Love the way you think, TAPS, it's always thought-provoking.

hooked on blogging
I have only been blogging since Sunday and I am already addicted. It's a fascinating medium of communication. I sometimes feel drunk with power as I wrestle with words and tame them.
