I agree! But it's not up to Bush to pardon the guy - it happened on Iraqi soil, under Iraqi law! Furthermore, under American law the President can grant a pardon only after someone has been convicted. I don't think the guy has been convicted yet, and I don't know if there's such a thing as a pardon under Iraqi law, nor am I going to bother finding out...
