Xeno-x:
Yes, perhaps quite a few of the founding fathers of our nation were Christian; they did, however, recognize the oppressive nature of a government wielding its power in the name of a religion, as demonstrated over and over and over throughout history.  Contrary to the misinformed opinions of a few of her citizens, the United States is not a "Christian nation".

Only 75% is that all?

Christmas/Easter shut down the country. It's Christmas carols, Santa, the Easter Bunny and so forth. It dominates the atmosphere and there's nothing you can do about it. Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, it's all the same as far as that goes.

Other religions will worship in whatever way they choose, it's just their holidays won't disrupt the country and you should be glad since I'm sure Christian holidays annoy you enough.
