If you still have an interest in it, keep in mind that I can whip one up for you in short order.

Talion_ - it is funny but even in jest you underline what should be obvious

The perception that many of these bible lobotomized types have of non believers cannot be reconciled with reality, yet it does not stop them from proliferating imaginary negative stereotypes similar to what you describe. As an example; just recently I challenged the fearless captain to produce but one real life example of an all encompassing negative profile he had dreamt up describing all atheists. He could not give one example but still clings to and attempts to defend his position that these types of people exist. (maybe on his native planet)

If there was a group of people guilty of all of the things that these religious folks routinely ascribe to their imaginary straw man atheist, you would think that there would be just a bit more evidence. Maybe a few more non believers in prison than their current under represented numbers, something, anything that might back what they so readily believe.

Xeno-x - Re: why worship?
If not for organized religion attempting to prescribe what worship is from a self serving perspective, respecting existence, or more specifically respecting all of creation, would be paramount as the most important form of worship.

Where do we ever find the time to blog with all of the murdering, raping, pillaging, and other assorted acts of wanton mayhem we non-believers most certainly commit on a daily basis. It's amazing how we can squeeze torturing cute little kittens, pulling the wings off flies, and persecuting the devout all in one twenty-four hour period. December is especially hectic for us because on top of our normal quota of dastardly deeds, we must also renew our war on Christmas. Not only are we totally devoid of any moral guidance, any sense of right and wrong, and any concept of honesty and integrity, obviously we are also the absolute in criminal masterminds since we aren't rotting in prisons or even wanted by the authorities. We are masters of disguise because we can hold jobs and have friends and families without anyone ever realizing the truth about or wickedness and depravity. We who worship nothing are most certainly the most powerful beings the world has ever known, supermen and superwomen without the kryptonite weakness. We who worship nothing are the masters of the universe! Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaa!!

This is too damn ridiculous to even be funny.

I love to worship the Lord! I am not religious; I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who saved me and turned my life around. I find the Christian life fulfilling and I wouldn't trade it for anything. To each his own. Some believe some don't. Some worship some don't. ALL will stand before God one day and be judged. It is God who will judge and not man. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
