Thanks, that is one of favorite phrases from this poem. Sometimes I astound myself.
It has both the thought rhyming of charm with spell and spell with lips, as well as the near sound inversion/mirroring of "spell" and "lips" . Perfect sound mirroring would be "spill" and "lips". Besides, the cadence of the meter helps it triply nicely off the tongue. -|..-|..-
