- Go to Thomas Jefferson had this to say about that
Between Obama, Blagojevich, and various bailouts
Thomas Jefferson would be appalled at what's to come in America.

Jefferson was right, and so are you in reminding us of his words, although some need reminding more than others...

Jefferson was right in a lot of ways.
He would have recommended taking up arms against the Bush Administration for sure, and, if we cannot change the present state of government, he would have wanted a revolution against it.
I don't disagree with much that has been said here.
Jefferson's words are two-edged sword that cuts both ways, RedStatesMan. I think he would have adopted a "wait-and-see" attitude toward the President Elect, though, rather than condemning him before hand as a lot of you are doing.

Great Post!
Do you mean to tell me that all of these progressive liberal, atheist, anti-war, pro-abortion, Obama loving, intellectuals are wrong about this particular topic? That can't be! An old guy from many years ago has it right? WOW!
Great post! Of course he was right, then and now! Just like the Bible does as well! I get really tired of so-called progressive thinking idiots! Sorry!
