I guess most writers are like you. Probably, it has something to do with the odd working hours. I have also given my best when I have been left alone by my employers and given total freedom. I hate being pushed around. I dont misuse my freedom though!

I think more people should read Alexander McCall Smith "The no.1 Ladies' Detective Agency" series. They would feel much better about themselves and their world after it!

And as say, too much (dieting) is like not enough (eating)!LOL

Have you had your morning toast???
I try and use 2 or 3 days a week as diet days and enjoy myself on the
others, in moderation of course........but the pounds sure do find a
way of creeping back on you......a little bit here,a little bit
there.......

Bread is the last food I'd give up. Crusty artisan bread warm from the
