strat - Yep, there's no better cheap entertainment than walloping fundies. I also consider it my civic duty, someone has to keep them from festering.

Wow! I forget how much fun it gets around here sometime!
I was trying to find something pithy to say, but nothing tops shrill hysteria getting whomped upside the head by simple logic for hours of rib tickling fun.

calia14 - that's the funniest part of the deal
Those who would like nothing better than to see this blog deleted are the most instrumental in keeping it near the top. In the past, some of their efforts have been particularly sustained and intense which propelled this blog to number one over all for a brief time. They never seem to catch on. Their hatred blinds them to the fact that they are instrumental to a great extent in insuring that what they completely disagree with in my posts will have a greater readership. It's an hilarious irony.

Re: calia14 - Yeah, I got a live crew commenting here this time
Aha, ty for the clarification on agnostic.  Hey, they do make your blog the #1 most read!  I wonder if they realize...

The term agnostic simply means that an individual is not certain of the existence of God. I premise what I believe on two things that I am as certain of as any person believing in God. First that there is no possible way for anyone on this planet to say with certainty that God exists and secondly, I am certain that a God as traditionally defined by the Abrahamic religions could not possibly exist.

Is it wrong?
That I believe in the ideals of Christianity and still get such a kick out of this blog?  I know you get a lot of grief in here Gomedome, but I rush to read your entries and see what people will take offense to next.  What is it you believe in anyway?  You seem far too strong-minded to be the "I don't know what I believe in" type, which is what I understand agnostic to mean.

Re: This Blog Is Pathetic!

RedStatesMan - "BUT NEVER ATTACK MY BELIEFS! EVER! GET IT?" . . . or what, you will subject us to more of your convoluted bible hillbilly reasoning? You want others to respect your beliefs . . . you first buddy. Do you really think the world works that way? That you get to be a feeble minded fundie promoting discrimination and hatred while everyone else simply accepts your bullshit?

You always have the option of doing us both a favor and simply getting lost.

RITE2SPIN - what utter nonsense
Young children have no control over what religions their parents may expose them to. Most people's beliefs, except possibly the mentally challenged such as yourself, evolve as they mature. To suggest that someone who has left a church and determined that its doctrine is based upon ridiculous fairy tales can still be defined as a member of that religion is ludicrous.

Re: I see no reason why anyone should make generalizations about atheists
ammon - you seem to top every comment you make with just a little bit more comedy. Where do you find the utter gaul to say "I see no reason why anyone should make generalizations about atheists" ??? Of anyone who has ever posted on this site you are perhaps the very worst offender.

This Blog Is Pathetic!
What exactly is your problem? I do not blog daily to attack atheism. I do not even blog to attack atheism, I just try to understand why somebody can be so hell bent on something they do not believe in? 85% of American believe in God. You have your rights to suggest a Festivus obviously! No one is bursting down your door every Sunday threatening your family to go to church or death! So deal with it!  I could not care less that you are not religious. HOORAY! Go on with your life BUT NEVER ATTACK MY BELIEFS! EVER! GET IT?

Re: RITE2SPIN - first off, I am not an atheist
atheist agnostic call it what you want, I might be stupid although mite's grow on a chickens ass. You can believe this, at one time you say you went to a church that believed in God and in christ, if you did and this is the truth, that you actually went to a church of God but know you are an agnostic, if you were to go out and kill 20 million jews or what ever, at the end of the day you would be a christian. Do I need to spell this out to you or are you actually that stupid.

I see no reason why anyone should make generalizations about atheists
except as specifically relates to what an atheist is or what an atheist is not, i.e. someone who does not believe in God.  And it is important to distinguish that this is not someone who says they don’t know whether or not there is a God, but instead someone who contends there is absolutely no God, as vehemently as the Fundamentalist contends there is a God.  As a result, the atheist has an agenda.

RITE2SPIN - first off, I am not an atheist

I know it is kinda tough for you to distinguish between an agnostic and an atheist but try to keep at least that part straight. Secondly, you wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on the ass. Truth is absolute, it is not found in an ancient book written by primitives, nor is it found by consensus. It is certainly not recognized through the debilitating perspective symptomatic of a full frontal bible lobotomy, which is apparently what you are suffering from.

Being stupid doesn't help you much either.

You are a perfect representation of the athiest I know. You steal from the truth and beg from a lie, all in the same breath you claim there is no God. You work for a devil you claim does not exsist, you are his souldier. Hey but that's all right you got a picture of your great great great great blood line on your wall of life to prove you are right, Lucy the great ape, That's all the proof you need right.
