I believe he did what he felt he had to do. The pulse of the nation would have put us all into a bad state by now I believe. I believe his bull doggedness kept us safe. Liked your post.

Considering the times and circumstances......
I thank God GW had the "wear with all" to make his decisions based on the information at hand and not by determining every move through "focus groups".
Having a President following that methodology helped contribute to the original problem........
