Good poem
It speaks of weariness and a need for peace to me with unexpected eloquence.  There are times I would like to better resist the clarion of disarrayed action.

I think the trick is to find a gentle and quiet growth, that can allows us to peacefully fulfill our lives

Sam, I am confused
Very interesting: Pell-mell (from the French pêle-mêle and the ancient French mesle-mesle) seems to have changed meaning when it crossed over to English. Or, maybe it's me who doesn't understand the meaning of your poem dear sam. For me (and I seem to be the only one) this poem shows a bit of lack of courage in NOT wanting to change one's way. I'll go back and read it again, and again, and again until I get it.LOL

Bravo my dear Shelly
you pulled out all the stops in this one my friend! It's so refreshing to see someone taking responsibility for their choices; I loved this; many blessings and thanks always

I'm sorry. This is, so far, over my head. I keep wondering if you have an
addiction to caffeine, lol....

Wow...I learned a new word today, Pell-mell. A heavy word at that. (utter confusion)

Interesting way to seize responsibility for your actions instead of leaving it to fate or chance... A very courageous stand my friend, mature and grown up... Wow, there are not many among us that can own their actions and express it in such a poetic way.  Great poem!  xoxoxo

"why provoke my chosen path"... wise decision, ma'am. Remain steadfast and focused on your goal.

Anyone who can use the word "pell-mell"
so effectively has to be a fantastic writer. Well done, once again.
