RSM, you really just don't get it
You keep showing that you have no grasp of how true
freedom needs to work.
One state governor who shows she very much
understands religious freedom has nothing to do wit how Bush and crew got the
(Un)Patriotic act passed and took away freedoms as part of a game to pretend
that makes us safer.
I will feel much better about freedom in this
country in January, after we are truly done with the Bush era and can start to
fix all the great mistakes that were made over these last eight
years.
Of course we still see that there are too many
out there who wish to do all they can to deny freedom to anyone who is not of
their views, as seen with the idiocy that is Prop 8.

At the expense of sounding too preachy...
please allow me to say that it is best to shun hatred, be it religious, racial, international, whatever...that doesn't mean one should be weak...in fact, just the opposite, and self-confident enough to ignore little acts, but courageous enough to punish ghastly deeds, best, Ash

Oh, I get the whole watered down nation thing that liberals desire but since you wrote this then why do cry about your freedoms being tkaen away and still under a Bush administration? Seems like you have a forked tongue!

Oh, yes, Mordent, I have checked it out and I'm not diggin it. You would think that Christians like myself were running around killing people in hotels and taking hostages, right?

Re:
I am so glad that at least one person actually understood my irrational demand for a national day for the KKK in order to make my point. Of course, I do not support the KK and never will but my point was made. Yes it is sickenning to be the whipping post then again the bible speaks of persecution.

RSM you do hate religious freedom don't you
The reason the atheists were able to do this was
because a Christian group sued to get their Manger Scene at the capital, after
being offended a few years ago by seeing a Menorah on display at the
capital.
It all has to do with religious freedom you see.
if one group is going to be allowed to display a religious based set up, then
you have to let other groups do the same. Otherwise there is no freedom there.
Sorry, but in all cases like these freedom has to be the most important factor
in all such things.

You know what else is funny? Cruise over to the religion/spirituality categorie and hear the most anti-Christian stuff you can imagine. Dig it.

you can bet she means that towards Christians even though it had no label. She wouldn't dare say it towards a Muslim or a Jew.
Christianity's open game while other religions are protected. Just like whites are fair game while all the others aren't. Doesn't is get sickening to always be the whipping post?
So I'll second your motion for the KKK holiday.
