To these people the Flintstone's was a documentary

To insist that man was contemporary to dinosaurs takes a level of denial that few can achieve. Making a few bucks from saps wanting it to be true helps as well.

Proponents of this idea not only willfully blind themselves to anything that contradicts their view, they obviously pick and choose only that which suits the desired conclusions. To the extent of switching back and forth between bible versions (sometimes even editing when needed). Following is a perfect example:

Job 40:15-24 (King James Version)
17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

Job 40:15-24 (Contemporary English Version)
17 Its tail is like a cedar tree,  and its thighs are thick.
21 It rests in the shade of trees along the riverbank
22 or hides among reeds in the swamp.
23 It remains calm and unafraid with the Jordan River rushing and splashing in its face.

Now with the word "tree" added, the description of the tail becomes more inexplicable. But further on, the animal being described is hiding amongst the swamp reeds. That would be some mighty tall reeds if they could hide a dinosaur with a tail the size of a cedar tree?
