The pics are terrific - would love to see it in person and taste the home-made fare!

Naut, I think it might be related to the effect of seeing words in print,
especially print on paper, and between covers.  It takes on a kind of distance from the creator of the art that makes it seem more durable, more credible.  As if it has passed certain standards already, to get there.

Beautiful! We have of course already seen some of these, but their frames gives them an added dimension! I wonder if anyone has ever done an analysis of why frames have that effect...

Yes, Straightforward, it is a small breakfast/lunch cafe
that rotates local artists' showings on their walls on a monthly basis.  I have been on their list since last year, and was originally scheduled for January 2009, but was asked if I could possibly do December instead.  I thought about it for a long time--maybe 2 seconds, and said, yes, I could manage that...

Or maybe they will want to go and see it for themselves, TAPS,
which would also be a fine thing, as the National Parks are suffering greatly from lack of adequate federal support in these past several years.  It's also one of the best things we can do as people and as parents, to get ourselves and our kids out into the natural world!

Is this some breakfast place whose wall u've got, That's a great way I
guess to make sure one's pictures are seen, specially if one isn't a veteran yet!

Great photos of that beautiful place.  Surely everyone who sees them will want to buy some.
