Clutter happens. We men are good at that. It is admirable that you two solve that problem so easily.

Ilove tidy and space in cupboards and draws
(well how else is Wiley going to find somewhere to sit!)
Only one area is sacred. well two actually.
The pile of books I am reading and my desk area. I can't keep either tidy and I can't write without clutter.

Nautikos, I never sell much at yard/garage sales...they're not worth the
trouble where I live.

Pat, right on both counts...he can open the windows on a cool day (and
has been doing it) and I'm forever closing them...what's the use in running the furnace with an open window????

And I'm a morning person and he's a night owl...you're right on!

Great story! And I'll bet you like the room cozy, and he wants the
windows open to the cool breeze. Or maybe you're a lark (morning person) and he's a night owl. It's mother nature's way of refining the gene pool, bringing opposites together.

All anyone has to do is suffer through the hell of hosting a yard sale
and you will become a card carrying, foaming, frothing minimalist forever!
