Yes, the gorilla did have that thoughtful look. It is the best of several I took, of various expressions, and through a dirty plexiglass barrier. Most of them were messed up by the dirt on the window. Just got really lucky with this one!

I left a comment yesterday, but I see that for some reason it didn't 'stick', lol. Anyway, I am most impressed with the pictures, and also wondered whether you too had noticed that amazingly thoughtful expression on the ape's face, or whether I was imagining things?

TAPS, I have such a history of letting opportunities slide by me...
so I had a certain anxiety about my own ability to procrastinate to the point of 'ship sailed.' I am patting me on the back, that I did this, and did it on time and respectably well.

Hi, Mal!
It is in a small breakfast/lunch restaurant that caters largely to the academia crowd from The Evergreen State College and the kinda neo-hippy community. I thought the animals would be fun for the many kids who come in there with their folks.
The food is really good, too!
