I'm coming up on a month anniversary with new friends and family here and I'm so excited each day to get online for my morning words of encouragement. I love the help with my writing which has been so on target and so appreciated. I feel safe here. Thank you.

I have found a great deal of support not only through all the comments but through reading.  I have discovered many people who have been through the same things.  Although I don't wish pain on anyone, it is a comfort to know that others out there understand.

I have received many comforting comments--some of them from you.  Thank you.

Absolutely. Blogit was a life saver when my mom died in March.

Blog to blog
I'm new to this blogging thing, but I've found it to be a terrific outlet for my emotions.  I only get the one blog on here, so I write poetry because that's the easiest for me.  When I'm in a bad mood, and I don't want to take it out on my husband, here's "the poison"  (see my blog).  When my kitties are being cute, and I don't want to be stupidly cooing over them to anyone who walks in the door, here's "ying and yang" .   I haven't had any really hard ones yet, but I've found the comments to be so encouraging, no matter what the deal is.

most blogit friends seem so understanding when your
so called friends take the other side who are supposed
to know you the best.

I hope you don't have to write one of those grief-filled blogs for a very
long time. As for cuddling with a cat... if worst comes to worst, you might find a cuddly toy kitty at Build a Bear or somewhere. I've got a fuzzy white buffalo standing guard over one section of my bookshelf. He's quite a cuddler.
