Aah I focus on the love amidst the crowds that gathered around Jesus to hear about how God loves everyone still!

Re: HA!

I have thought this may be the trigger as you said and we'll see. It should get very interesting.

Of course I've read your materials and know that you're not concerned about what people think or your views.

However my point was Christian right-wingers have become liberal with race as opposed to what they were before the late-sixties. Not all of course but many.

Also my point was, how many more things will they become liberal about? As I said the whole world trend is towards liberalism/communisim which tells me Christianity is wanning.

Perhaps you can write a post about the coming war between revelations and the commie/liberal one world regime?

Re: Re: Re: What's wrong with Europe having one currency?

Guess what i actually like the thought of being a Californian before an American. I've traveled many states and spent much time in Europe and I can tell you that as far as attitude, many still feel a strong rivalry towards their neighbors.

Example, California and New York aren't crazy about each other neither are the British and the French.

That's just human nature and shows differences are differences.

Things will become more inter-connected as the post pointed out. I also think there's benefits to it (I don't always have to change money in Europe) and as long as we don't all become the same and lose our individuality then thats fine with me.

For example Metalrat sounds like you're fan of heavy metal. I personally like the differences in music and think it sounds a kooky when a band tries to mix so many different music like rap, metal, reggae, punk so to speak. All a matter of taste I guess.

But one huge dictator or government...I think that could end up being disasterous. Just ask the world what they think of Americas current regime.

actually the Christian Right is not dead
they have bveenput in their rightful place

back on the rringes of society where they've been all along

it's just that they've been made to look larger, more mainstream, more powerful than they really are

what they really are is pathetic.

HA!

You actually think the Christian right is dead? Then you say

"I notice the Christian Right are deathly afraid to be called racist."

Afraid? Afraid of being called a racist? Just because I did not vote for a worthless liberal black man? Call me what you may! I could not care less, my friend! I know who I am. I know how I treat people of all races. I know of whom I have voted for in the past. Above all God knows what I am all about. So to be threatened by some worthless silly name calling like racist is pathetic.

You will see how dead the Chrsitian right is in the years to come. Trust me! Then again maybe this is the trigger for the Book of Revelations! Ever thought about that?

Re: Re: What's wrong with Europe having one currency?
Back in the early days of our Republic, a person's State was considered his Country, for instance, a Virginian considered himself a Virginian first, an American second.
And the same was true of people in other States, for the reason that a sovereign State is a sovereign State, whether it's a European Nation State, or an American State.
What many Americans don't realize is that the States were originally much more sovereign than they are now. Only through a bloody Civil War and the passing of time and constitutional amendments did we grow into the relatively cohesive whole that we are now.
In time Europe will also become more cohesive and that is a good thing. At least they won't be dragging us into more World Wars as a result of their squabbles that arise as a result of their separate national sovereignties.
In other words, unity is a good thing, when it's achieved properly and equitably and peacefully.

Ardently, it's not but it is interesting! Never count God out of the equation. In the end, He wins!! Jim

Re: What's wrong with Europe having one currency?

The US is a country made up of states whereas Europe is a continent made up of countries. That's the difference.

Whatever tyrants are here they're not killing/gassing/raping their own people. Try living in other countries where they treat their own people like dog-meat.

You may not fear a one-world government but all of this is leading to the destruction of identity and individuality.

Do you want everyone to be the same? Is this what it takes to get along? I would rather war with others if I have to and keep my identity.

Re:
Ha! I thought it was quite balanced. Xenophobia? Hmm. Whose more xenophobic the West or the Middle-East?

This is a very interesting post with probing questions. It is tragic you could not present it in a civil and balanced way, without all the xenophobia.

What's wrong with Europe having one currency?
The independent states of America joined together under a common currency and a common set of laws, so, why can't the states of Europe do the same? Or any other continent for that matter?
Are we the only ones allowed to do that?
Or is it One World Government paranoia rearing its ugly head?
I personally don't fear a one world government or any form of government, so long as its not malevolent.
Like Mel Gibson so glibly stated in the movie Patriot, "Why should I fear one tyrant three-thousand-miles away, when I have three-thousand tyrants one mile away?" Paraphrased, of course.
Good post, though, full of of interesting insights.
