A little unsettling, because i'd probably trust you to give me a close shave with an open razor with your eyes closed--presuming, of course you are not also deft--in which case i'd probably still trust you.

Shelly
What an interesting, many-layered poem! I can't close my eyes know, but I shall remember it and be inspired by it later tonight...

Wonderful
This is an outstanding poem! I am very moved by it. So true...if we would close our eyes, imagine what we could suppose! I am working on a poem now for my Grandmother for christmas and in one of the lines, I do mention how closing ones eye can bring us wherever we want to go.
Very well done!
I thank you for your comments too.

This is another excellent piece Sam! Am I right to think you are speaking
of 'being in denial' that many of us do not wish to 'see all'? Whatever-wonderfull! Chris.

I like "Lion's" choice of words - striking! It leaves the reader pondering and encourages them to close their eyes for a moment....
