I Hear ya, sister !
Not only in Fine dining, but all dining. I work (part time, was full time) In a little bar/grill/pizza joint. The same rings true. people can be so rude !!! It amazes me. I bartend...I wait tables...I cook...I bus tables...I do it all, depending upon what I'm scheduled to do. There's always some inconsiderate ass that stands in the way when I need to get a tables food to them, or somebody bitchin' about something...I'd rather serve the drinkers at the bar, then deal with the restraunt end of the business.

I have never worked in the food industry...
...in any form, but I have a great deal of respect for those who do as I imagine the challenges that can come from waiting on someone like myself. Thank you for speaking from your experience and reminding us to respect the privilege of dining out.
