Your creative poem "wound" me up. Seconds..minutes..hours and days go by and your poetry still amazes me.

This is one of your best yet. It clearly shows some of us up short, round and round we go backward. Oh it has so much, is done so well. I love the minute on one hand and hour on the other to begin and end as it never gives more or takes away. Excellent. Be blessed.

very deep...does a clock merely count off time
or is the clock time itself? without measurement, is there time at all?

Great read Shelly with so many hidden thoughts to chase. It will take time to explore and like a shell game I need to find the timeLol Again you leave me thinking.

Time is the great consumer
of our thoughts and our daydreams I think. Thanks for your comment on my site and have a good weekend.

Sam
We’re sometimes one step (or many steps) behind the speed of time but it’s a good thing that it all starts again giving us another chance to inch our way forward to our dreams, aspirations, or a better understanding of ourselves.

I think the hands of a clock....
...are easier on the psyche than the dripping of the sand in an hourglass, which is very stark, though
"time and tide wait for no man" regardless.

A life lesson I've had to learn

just BE in the moment and don't relive the past and create your future with your best of thoughts.

there never seems to be enough time to do everything we really want to; even more reason to spend more of it being happy! Blessings Shelly - see you Monday
