- Go to Palin was seen as a feminist by some,by others as an antithesis of feminism
Sarah Palin
in my view, is a mixture of many things - feminist and not. I admired her gutsy exterior, her confidence and TV presence, but I think she should have thought more carefully about accepting the VP nomination. McCain, on his part, should have thought better than offer her the position. She was just not ready for it.

Re: I was part of the feminist movement when it was all about gaining freedom
Kabu, I continue to be a part of the feminist movement. But I guess there isn't one movement but many movements and so be it. Variety is the spice of life. What say?

I was part of the feminist movement when it was all about gaining freedom
of choice and equality as a human being.

I agree with you---it all depends on how we look at things. Thanks for stopping by, and the comment on my post. Yes, one does feel one with nature and the universe while looking up at the mountains. God bless. Nita.

You have an objective, open minded perspective....
...we could use more of that.
I find it hypocritical that the same characteristics of strength that are admired in men are villified in women.
Palin is strong, but, I also think she's not that bright. So, I'm glad she's not the next in line to the most important office in the world....thank God!!!
