You are a cunning little one my dear. Now I will reveal a secret: you know why I read you so often? Because like me, YOU HATE COOKING and YOU BURN VEGETABLES. So, there, soul-sister!

Your posts are well written sometimes funny sometimes serious
and always a welcome breath of fresh air; although I may not always comment I do read you daily; I assume that would rate you a 10 for me

Many blessings and thanks

When I read posts....
....I don't rate them with other posts. They either resonate with me or they don't. Nevertheless, I know when I've enjoyed a post, either for enlightenment, humor, sentimentality or artistic merit, and I must say that I've really enjoyed this post for its insight and the way it challenges the readers assumptions and compells him/her to think.
So, for that I'll rate it way up there with some of the best, but, I can't give it a numerical value. Sorry!

Well Taps... emotionally attached that I am to you and your writings I would rate you a 10 anyway even if I weren't...why? well because you are entertaining and sometimes funny, sometimes sad but always real, because you make me think about things and through your words I can see things in wonderful ways... you help me understand about the world you live in and mine... and your posts are always well written. So yes my dear, definitely a ten :-)

LOL..Actually you just read me not that long ago about (5 minutes) at the most...As for the post..It does beg the question....excatly do we get emotionally attached to certian writers or is it that they just draw us back...Emotionally we always rate things higher...though getting drawn in by title is always good too!

I have a feeling you are right, lustorlove. At the same time, I wouldn't want to knowingly rate writers even though we do just by reading them on a regular basis, or not.

LOL, kabu, I would refuse too. I hate rating stuff. That is what prompted me to write this post. I really thought that no one would. I got fooled.

friend. Life is full and blogit is important to me but these days I enjoy clever writing and people I know are a good read.

I will ditto Ciel on this one. I've been reading you since I joined blogit in April - and over the months have culled down my list of those I read because I just don't have time to read everyone. So, I stick with the posts that consistently provide enjoyment, poignancy, acute observations about life and surroundings; and do so with a great writing style. For all those reasons, TAPS, I give you a 10.

TAPS, I read you regularly because I like you personally, based on the topics you choose to write about, and the way you shine through your writing. Compassion, insight, open-mindedness... I can always count on finding these things in your posts, along with stimulating ideas that give me inspiration.
I like that you write about a lot of different topics, with no axe-grinding or lecturing, but with a good command of the language and how to use it to convey a message.

Ratings are part ego, part assessment and (on blogit) part friendship. Its the ego-effects of ratings that's dangerous. Highs and lows can only be tempered by manipulating involvement. Interesting topic!

I always look forward to your posts....so that makes you tops. I'm like Nautikos, I'm not going to put a number on here.....I always hate it when the medical folks ask for a number because I'm one of those people that can't decide what number to give anything....I do recall right after my last knee surgery, in recovery, I did put a 10-10-10 on it!! I wanted drugs....fast!!

I'm new to this area so I guess I haven't realized the rating system yet. I just know what I like to read - what makes me smile, nod my head (shake my head sometimes) or even pulls at my heart. I enjoy reading what you have to say - no more, no less.

I came here simply because I enjoy reading your posts, and have for a long time; I like the way you write, and that you always have interesting observations and often make me smile. And I don't give a sh** about ratings, never think about them, and I ain't gonna start 'rating' things now. I'll just tell you that, for me, TAPS is TOPS...
