When I'm writing I can't listen to anything but Yanni or classical....

If there are words in the songs, it interferes with the words in my head...too much going on all at once! Thanks for a thought provoking post.

Music has always been my life's blood of enjoyment--what I call music.  My choices are much akin to your own if you throw in a little folk music now and then.

I adore music

and each of our children were treated to a really wide range when still in the womb. All of them enjoy music and our's is a house bursting with sound! I've also started to record the memories that different songs conjure up in my Music and Lyrics blog.

I always listen to music when I am alone.......I leave radio on while I am

sleeping......I may be all alone, but music holds me together like someone truly loves me....
