Thanks for your comment. Of course others have died for their religion.
My point is that if Jesus had not been raised from the dead, the Apostles would not have followed Him. Saul-Paul would never have met Him. Saul was on his way to Damascus to drag the Christian Jews back to Jerusalem.

Extrapolation
By your argument, that the Apostles would not have 'followed a dead man', every religion must necessarily be true. Who would confess Judaism when it could get you killed if it weren't true? Or Islam? Or Buddhism, or Hinduism. It isn't just Christians that have died for their faith. But as all these faiths contradict each other, it seems to me there must be some other explanation for their continued existence.
