Most people don't bother to park in between the lines my dear
this is something I have noticed especially so here; even in broad daylight they don't bother and the best part is when they turn in and take two spaces and 3 lines! Many blessings and thanks

At least at home I don't have to worry about parking. But why is it that, no matter how vast and empty the parking lot, there will be an idiot parked next to me, so close that it's virtually impossible to avoid hitting his car when I open my door? While, of course, he definitely hit
my car when he opened
his door?

I know what you mean, Ciel. That sort of thing makes me very nervous.

Re: I wish we had lines in our parking lot
shelly_b, once (at work) someone did that to me on both sides and I couldn't get either door open more than six inches and I'm a lot bigger than that. At that time I had a two door with a hatchback. I wanted so badly to go home, that I crawled in the hatchback and up over both sets of seat backs. When I finally got comfortable in the driver's seat and ready to start the car, the driver of the car on my driver's side came out, got in his car and sped away. I remember being very hot under the collar.

When it is raining here, especially at night, it can be impossible to see
the lines on the roads around here. And there was a time during resurfacing projects that there were no lines on the freeway through the mountain pass, and vehicles were going through there at 70-80 mph (posted 60 there) and I just wanted to pull over and wait until the painters came!

Re:
Mal, there are one or two lines not yet painted as cars were sitting on them, LOL. Maybe they will watch for opportunities, or maybe they will never do them. LOL

how much could it cost for a little paint and an hour (?) of labor, anyway? I can't believe they did it while the cars were still parked! Impatient, much? Mal
