Thank you all for your kind replies.  The photo was taken one week ago at a local water garden. The water lillies are almost out of season and this yellow variety was especially hard to get a good photo. Sincerely

A great picture! I like it that you left the dry oak leaves in the picture for contrast - the water looks like dark, molten glass - and that blazing flower - the whole thing is visually very interesting...

BEAUTIFUL PHOTO, I HAVE A SMALL POND OUTSIDE WHERE I HAVE GOLDFISH AND KOI, IT IS SO PEACEFUL FOR ME TO FEED THEM AND WATCH THEM, THANKS FOR THE PHOTO, IS THIS A RECENT PHOTO WHERE DO YOU LIVE? I MUST GET SOME OF THESE LILY PADS THIS SPRING, THANKS KENT
