Intriguing subject... doubt. Stirred me up, but in the end confident certainty prevailed
in a triumphant song.

Sam-this is a brilliant piece! DOUBT is overpowering-imprisoning as I know-
you know! In doubt-we can not move forward or re-trace--we are 'frozen in time'! I love this.Chris.

sam, you sure hit the nail on the head in your imagery of doubt..
we think we've got it under control and in it sneaks yet again, if we allow it too...

Just messing around?...humnn. Probably so, because after you touched the feeling/thought, you started analyzing it, which becomes part of another package.
I thought your 1st stanza caught it, and I started wondering why you felt you needed to wtite the 2nd part, and I started woundering, for myself, the age old question of substance and delivery: Is more, more, or is less more? EG: does thought require its own action to be recorded of what it has already perceived?
So, you kind of led me to this fork road of self-discovery and the batterment of form--I never wanted to know everything, but I always liked the light bulb of a thought because it would be like a little gem (or crayon)I could put in my pocket and walk around feeling happy for one day.
So, all I'm saying I was happier than a pig in your 1st stanza--then you continued telling me what this was about to you--without being universal to me, so I just lost interest, and just got lost, till you told me you're just messing around, not with me, but your own thought.
This is a back door to a more interesting question. Like I said, Maestro, you can't play it if you don't hear it. But you can't hear it until you try to play it.
So, quote me: I think I hear more in you than you might be hearing in yourself, right now. Of course I'm a gambler, so prove me wrong!
