Lovely tribute and empathy to the seeming darkening of your friends dreams. Hope they rise in the splendid light once again . You are a great friend .

It always amazes me how other people can sense and catch onto what's happening way before I do. Me, I had to work myself thru a few reads to grop thru my feelings, which are still as vague as the sceens portrayed, and maybe that's what I like about it, because I find myself fumbling with indirect images (hey, what else is new?).
This is where I fell into the form of the painting--and I say a painting rather than a poem--not because the language is visual, but that the time and timing within a canvass could leave a different impression than words upon a page--unless ,of course, you were writing within the rhythmn of a play.
Poems are always a lot shorter than the life they are perceiving, which can make words seem a little weird, if not over-looking and unperceiving (unless they're not).
So, what makes art, art is its innate idea of composition.
So, there! I said it before I could confuse myself.
