this and that
We have filled the earth with over six billion humans of whom millions lead very crappy lives and I think the "multiply until your children are like the sand on the shoreline" theory is no longer applicable.

If you overpopulate a rat family environment, they start showing preference for same sex "relationships" and this works out good for rats.

Concerning your line of argument and extensive use of the Bible when dealing with sensitive issues such as these, I understand how you get to what you say.  As long as the Book about God remains elevated above the God the book is written about your line of thinking will probably remain a minority thing and difficult to follow by the "Bookies" of our souls.

It is written that Jesus said some are born to abstain from heterosexual relationships, others become that way by social pressure and some choose so for the Holy life.  This obviously does not sanction homosexual marriage but it certainly does not declare it an abomination either.  He also said that not many will have a clue what he was on about in this instance.  There are never many that have much of a clue what He was on about in general.

Xeno-x - I think we should deny fundies the right to marry until they

lower their divorce rates to at least not leading all identifiable groups.

Their argument is rooted in preserving the sanctity of marriage after all. Some sanctity.

Xenox, in a feel good society, doing whatever I want that makes ME

feel good, then sure --  marriage for all folks, why not.  It's not what God ordained, but hey, anything goes and we live in a pluralistic, post modern, anti God society, so why should I be bothered that 3% of the population is wishing to redefine marriage?

No wonder humanity is slowly spiraling into chaos.  We live for ourselves and our selfish desires.

Whatever feels good, do it.

The ends justify the means.

Etc.

(I'm not just referring to gays here so don't get your panties in a bundle.)

I just don't see the connection: Gays> marriage> Jesus. You are so crazy it is breathtaking.

If you want to keep on citing the teaches of Jesus and the Bible for justification for homosex marriage, remember when God created the first man and women, he told them to be fruitful and multiply. Kind of difficult for to gays to do that.
