But we seem not to be able to end this sort of thinking. It becomes clear how it has happened in the past, how it could happen again and IS happening in places like Darfur, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, Bosnia, and let us not forget Israel/Palestine.

I do not know that the world be ever be rid of such irrational xenophobes. Yet it is better that they say their piece and can be monitored, than keep silent and cause havoc. By and large, the world as a whole is too cosmopolitan, too sensible, to provide a credible platform for these misfits.

“They’re” out there – isn’t is sad, pathetic, and a reminder of how far the world (never mind just the U.S.) has yet to go? Some of us who are colour-blind can’t believe these kind of attitudes still exist but they do.
