Richard is OCD with Alzhiemers and Parkinsons so he has always
winterized the house and when he got sick, I had to winterize it under his tutorial. AAAAAAYYYYYY!!! He had the best of intentions to get the underneath of the house insulated before he ran out of steam. You could feel the cold air coming up through the floor. After we had the water leaks, he had JT to put black plastic ground covering underneath the house, then he insulation under the flooring and then he covered it with black plastic. What a Difference!!! I had a forced air heater put in last winter for Brooke and Scott downstairs. I have had the heat pump off for 3 days now with only the fan running and we have been very comfortable. My kitchen floor is warm to walk on, my living room and the hallway.
