Democrats vs. Republicans is not the answer

Democrats have also redistricted and stolen votes. This, of course, does not excuse the Republicans' egregious behavior. I'm just keeping things balanced, for once we begin to think the other political party has the answers (or even the other side of the argument), we are sure to fall prey to the cycle again.

And I think the media are fairly quiet about it because they get a nice kickback somewhere along the line from somebody, or several interest groups hoping to maintain a low profile and still get the advertising that will make the look golden.

Bush and Shove

Anyone that cannot draw an honest evaluation of George W. Bush, has simply not looked at the evidence. The man is the most maligned figure to sit in the Oval office since Nixon. Even, Richard Nixon had smarts though. Bush is just a mouthpiece for corperate masters.

Definition of "fascist."

Methinks Mr. Argee hasn't a clue as to what a fascist is nor what a thug is. It isn't Liberals who show disdain for human rights, or are militantly militaristic, or control the mass media, or who are obsessed with "national security", or who mix religion and government unconstitutionally, or protect and serve Corporate power, or who steal elections by theft, recall or redistricting. It has been Bush and the Republicans who do that.

A thug is someone who uses force to get their way. Much as Bush and the Republicans are doing in Iraq killing American soldiers and innocent Iraqis in the process.

The vast majority are losing everything. Their kids to war. Their savings and pensions to corporate criminals and their health to the polluters who are given a pass by this administration. I guess that's Mr. Argee's definition of "Freedom" - when you have nothing left to lose.

The people are neither blind, deaf, nor stoned...

...they simply are smart enough to see what you jerks cannot, or will not, because it doesn't fit your preconceived notion of how things should be. The world according to Marx died with the fall of the Iron Curtain. People all over the world finally are free to do what they wish, when they wish, how they wish. Those who still lag behind in third world countries are fast getting smart, turning to free markets, and getting on board. That you guys don't like it is obvious by your rants here on BN, but there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Freedom rules, and you Fascist thugs (that's right, you guys who want to force all of us to do things your way) have been left in the byways of history.

Great American Sell Out

I agree----why can't the people see what is happening?  Are they blind? Deaf? or Stoned?  It is frightening.  So long as "leaders" keep the commoners over-taxed and underpaid, they can maintain control over us and do as they darn well please.  They do not care about the average American----In fact, they wouldn't care if we did not exist at all.

When You Are...

...more concerned about the cheap deals you'll be getting at Wal-Mart, or the line on the Raiders game, or how much you slobber whenever Bill O'Reilly starts lying again, or how bitchin' you look in that Lincoln Navigator, or how much you'd like to shoot those abortion doctors, you really don't have the mental capacity to see what is happening to this country.

The deep comatose state of the American sheeple was planned for decades ago, my friend. These efforts are now paying off in big dividends to the fascists, who started after the New Deal was signed and have been hell-bent ever since. It is utterly amazing--astounding, really--that cities aren't burning these days with the news that ballot box tampering has been stealing elections for years, and will steal the next one for W next year. The evidence is there. It just isn't being paid attention to. Guess 'American Idol' is more important.

God help us all.
