And Deks, when I chase Baby and her soccer ball out the back door to the garden , I often forget to close the back door, so that airs the place out.
Luckily, my heater hasn't been turned on as yet, so I only lose the natural house heating caused by our dog and people bodies, and don't shoot up the gas bill.
I have cheated twice and put the gas oven on, with its door open on the last two nights, for about an hour or two, to remove the ice from the air. It never reaches into my studio bedroom, however the dogs on their living room futon are in heaven, snoring.
But, I'm working with cold wet clay and so, there is no way to make my purple fingernails go natural colored unless I crawl into the stove.

I still sometimes sleep with one window cracked in the winter, to prevent my fear of gas or CO2 seeping from a broken heater, as it does in these old houses....

Been filling it with Earl Grey Tea, but warm grog would probably do more. Hot brandy, etc., but then my typing would deteriorate.

I am now permanently covered in sweaters and constantly holding hot tea mugs, drinking hot soups and wearing two pairs of socks again. Brrrrrrrrrrrr. Thanks for reading and for commenting.

Whacky, I used to have a large bed and slept with all three dogs, but, my tiny single bed and dog allergies have me sleeping alone, trying to find the warmth of dogs in added blankets, etc.

I really hate being cold!
Bo the wonder dog helps though. Sometimes he falls asleep warming my cold feet!
