Re: This is wonderful! - to Sunnybeach7

Hi, Sunny - good and bad, happiness and sorrow etc. happen different places to different times but ... is it supposed to be like this? ... in a bigger perspective that we humans can't see/understand?

Is it the process of learning for each and one of us the answer - ? - some has to (or by choise?) to be born in Darfur, others in peace, freedom and prosperity ...

Where is humankind in its development compared to a balance of minus and plus? - if that is a relevant thought.

It's so much unknown for me that I just don't know where to put positivism regarding negativity ... but ... yes, being positiv is important, as long as the way I believe "being positiv" is right but, sometimes I'm wrong. Being content (cream&honey) is a way for me to measure my right-doing within some selfmade rules of what's right and wrong and ... I have to take the chance that it's right -  - genio

Think on this: the honey comes from the bee which stings.

This is wonderful!
I especially like this .. "if it had been heaven I would have known".  How remarkably true that is! .. No mistaking.

There is pain and grief all around us. But there is some happiness too, right? There just has to be. Though it does seem a very unbalanced ratio. Why is this, I wonder? Why can't there be as much happiness as sorrow?

And if we choose to perceive things in a positive manner, does this mean we are making life a little happier, or just avoiding the issues?

Re: If we all did our part just a little every day - to mariaki

Thanks, mariaki - behind the scenes our world is hard and brutal; people who fight and kill etc. for the sake of power ... it's real, yes, but ... in between and among most of us we're looking for peace and contentment in a simple way and maybe we're able to give contentment and peace to others -  - genio

If we all did our part just a little every day I am sure our lives would
improve dramatically as well as those around us; the problem is that people don't much care about others enough as they are too busy wallowing and attracting more of the same for themselves; most of us are just not strong enough for change; many blessings and thanks

gg
We are only one person but each of us, in our own way, can make this world a slightly better place to live.  Even by creating our own “cream and honey” we can spread joy and if we can lift the heart and spirits of even just one person in doing so we make a difference.  We then hope they pay it forward.
