i swear if they order Merlot - another Sideways comment - sorry but I am keeping all of my Pinot Noir. since i also have many rifts in my family - this year i am staying home and teaching my daughters (13 and 19) how to cook thanksgiving dinner. don't forget to take the icky stuff out!!!!

Miaella - remember in Sideways when Miles fancy pants old bottle of wine
had peaked so he took it to In&Out burger and drank it out of a styrofoam cup. Thats what I'd do with thanksgiving: if it keeps being awkward just order a pizza

Perfection is over rated
My daughter seems to remember so many of my imperfect moments...such as the day she tried to teach me to roller blade or the time I missed the exit and we ended up in Canada, etc... Somehow so many of my imperfect moments stay with her and when she speaks of them there is a huge smile on her face and that silly little shrug as she says "That was really fun Mom."
Perfect? No. Happy? YES!
