Re: Being porr didn't scare me until I moved here.

I want light shining on poor places, maj and I hope that we try to turn them around a bit in the next four years................but, I don't want hungry kids trying to study in school or sleep at night.

I know, Wiley. Oldsters who grew up on soupsna d stews and potatoes or rice have no fear. I find that Brasilian black beans and rice make a lovely diet........

It's just that I have cut food way down and now this, darn it...........

I heard a guy on TV say yesterday that Bush's spending caused the dollar

to go down so far that this is what ultimately caused the mortgage meltdown -- because mortgages were bundled and sold abroad so much that the low value of the dollar finally pulled down that house of cards.... Interesting.... I think this guy was a Republican, too.

Sure, the speculators ran up the price of oil, but, notice how the price of

gas comes down once our "oil man" president's days in office are numbered?

Same depressing situation here too luv so I didn't click, I can't stand it anymore. Anyways, I grew up poor so no big deal to be that way again when it comes luv.
