TAPS.....if I could afford it, I'd have a proofreader for my live.........that's why it's so much more fun to focus on other's mistakes....

Taps
We like to see people stumble, mumble, or make themselves look a fool – perhaps it gives us momentary relief and a sense that we are “faux paux” exempt. But we know better, don’t we? We just don’t have cameras and microphones following us around….thank goodness!

Don't fret my dear - I have been guilty of many an error in the past
and may still be in the future; this is what makes up our humanity; having said that it seems to be human nature to always point out the errors and the bad but not so often pick out the good or the well done! Many blessings and thanks and have a wonderful weekend

I made a mistake once (today) and will probably make a couple tomorrow...
It's how I learn. I think there's a honeymoon period for the elected president that will last quite a while if he solves even one of the crises we face. I hope to catch his press conference today, will keep NPR going as the NaNo project unfolds.

Mostly, people tend to see what meets the eye,to see what lies beneath the surface & search for the truth is an exercise very few indulge in & those who do get to see, what others cant.

Wasn't it Shakespeare who wrote, "To err is human, to forgive divine?"
Wasn't it Portia in
The Merchant of Venice? If not, I think it should have been. I'll have to check on that. It's only the wee hours of the morning here. Please forgive me if I'm wrong....

This was so good:
I made one once, I think. Me too! I think he will get much as any person has who has occupied the White House. I doubt it will change. He needs to limit the amount of ammunition, cuz, he will get exploited for every little thing. I think we have the error police on this one for sure, lol! sam

I think this blog generates the thought of Pope;
"To err is human, to forgive divine."

I believe the whole world is expecting too much from this one man
But then he wanted the job as did all the other Presidents. I guess being hounded goes with the job.

That's a very interesting comment, Justi. I will have to do some thinking on parts of that.

I'm hoping now the choice is made,
that most of us, even those who didn't vote for Obama, will be turning towards making the best of the opportunities open to us to heal and mend.
The fears and doubts, the superficial false issues that have been used in rivalry will burn off like morning mist in the afternoon sun, and the high-running emotions that have flooded this country for the past months and years can rage less and accomplish more.
We can stop hoping now, now that we got what we hoped for, and start making and doing!

I personally do not believe President Bush will be hounded to his death. I don't believe it is easier to find fault than truth. It is simply harder to be heard with the truth, It is harder to be accepted by friends and enemies when you speak the truth. What one finds to be the truth and speaks it, another will turn into a fault before the ink dries.
