62! Oh, for the sixties again! We will be lucky to get well into the 50s today. And as I look out, I see the those big yellow leaves flying every which way in the bluster--by week's end, the maples will be nearly bare, and the neighbors will be visible behind us again.

LOL about Lake Karmagotcha! Our own Karma is holding up well! While you're being drenched with rain, we're bathing in the sun - literally sometimes. We've got the nicest Indian Summer imaginable.
I look out my window as I write this, the morning sun lighting up the leaves on my neighbour's tree, a golden backdrop to my own green cedars, and there is not a cloud in the sky. The high today will be 62, but it will be warmer in the sun, and a little later this morning I shall make a call and cancel a meeting scheduled for this afternoon. Instead, I shall go on a long bicycle ride into the hills or, if it's really warm, along Lake Ontario's waterfront trail into Darlington Provincial Park...
