I sometimes wonder...

if I should explain where my "inspirations" come from, or whether it would spoil the idea of the seeds.

In this case, "disappointment" did, indeed, come from my reaction to the outcome of the election. "Vaporize" was inspired by the PediaCare Gentle Vapors pint-size vaporizer on my desk (bronchitis makes it hard to breathe). "Impenetrable" was inspired by the tape on the box of office supplies that I had just opened ... I suppose I should have been reassured that my shipment would not accidentally come open and spill everything in the UPS truck, but I was actually just irritated that I had to find my box knife to open the darn thing because the tape would NOT give.

Good seeds.  They are burrowing themselves into my thinking.  Who knows when they might sprout, or what might grow.
