I'm enjoying your accounts of life on the Outer Hebrides.
You live in a beautiful country!!  I have a close friend who lives in Aberdeen, and the two times I've visited her I've come away so delighted and impressed.

So sad about the little guy, I am with you I think its mother came for and it got out in the tide! I am glad the election is over. I hope your throat is better real soon! sam

You're probably right about the seal pup.
Every year around here people 'rescue' fawns that they find 'abandoned' in the woods, only to be told they have made a terrible mistake.  Sorry, though, about the one who died.  Perhaps its mother didn't make it back.
