We are often without plea when we can't see our own wealth and good fortune. Excellent Sam.

Dear sis Shelly, I cannot express how very much I loved the poem. Simply remarkable, and the alliteration of the punch line makes it so memorable, although with a hint of pathos. It has so touched me, that's all I can say. Wow!!& a Kudos!!!

Such a powerful poem Sam...poignant and needy like a poor man's hunger. I love the way you use the nautical images...its so you... almost letting us get a glimpse of what is behind the verses, but not too clearly so to preserve the mystery. You just hint at the meanings allowing us to draw our own conclusions and apply the words to our own lives. Brilliant!

Oh and PS.and I luv you the mostest so

Strength and sadness stand together firm, stirring my emotions to wonder at the outcome
of no plea. Your poetry seems to always dance on the edge. Love it.
