ravenmarie, no one teaches anyone anything anymore, as far as I can discern. My sister says that the parents and children, but especially the little children, are 100% disrespectful at her day care center now.
I want to send them all to their rooms to read a book on proper and responsible parenting techniques, and they can't come out until they pass a parenting responsibility and civility test.

exactly, gomedome, people go right to personal attacks, rather than presenting points of view and then defending them when questioned or challenged.
Rudeness rules everywhere, I pity the people, as they shall destroy their own civil environments.

I don't remember it ever being like it is now. Some of the dialog we have witnessed right here on this site has been attrocious by any standards.
