RSM, I really can't take that article too seriously because the guy clearly
Does not understand math
You see he got the '54.9%' number in the oddest of ways. If one were to use actual math
there you would get 27.45%, half of what this guy is claiming. The two rates he
is talking about are not of the same 100%, but of two differing tax rates so.
So you would have to average them, not add them together. Also I am sure there
are a lot of other factors that are being ignored in all this, but the writer
clearly does not care to do his calculations correctly.
If the writer of this article has such a weak grasp
of how percentile and averages work, then I have to place my money on him having
a weak grasp of the whole rest of what he is talking about.

Mordent, what a double standard you are showing here
You tell me it is meaningless for me to use
an article that help prove my point, but here you are praising a conservative
for doing such.
I guess in your mind it is only meaningless if it
does not agree with your views.
