"I know that Dr. Khalidi doesn't hate America; he just wants to shift American foreign policy to benefit the Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and self-determination"
There has never been a president of the U.S. who has sided with Palestine, not even a democrat. Wonder why that is? To me it comes down to one thing and this is always the elephant in the room that nobody wants to address. God said that Israel belongs to the Jews. If you do not believe in God then you support the Palestinians such as yourself. Israel has been an incredible ally to our nation. There is a reason why all presidents support Israel of course I am sure this will end if Hussein is elected.
"I seem to be less afraid of our enemies than you are because I think America is strong enough to defend itself in pretty much every way, including intellectually. I suppose in this I have something in common with Senator Obama; I can respect an intelligent man, and hear his arguments without fear."
This will surely change if Hussein is elected. By the way, I am not afraid of our enemies at all. I think you take my awareness, knowledge and readiness as some sort of fright. That is hardly the case. You see, I am ready to defend my way of life, my family and your rights as well as mine no matter what it takes and am constantly aware that there are others who hate us and wish us harm and have done so for somany years. You and other liberals think that you can talk your way out of things like Obama. Oh I feel very safe with our present administration but if Hussein is elected then he will cut the military and demise our defenses to a point where we can not protect ourselves. It would be just him trying to talk Putin or the leaders of middle eastern nations into something while making deals with them and who knows what we will give up due to that. Get it?

Re: Re: Inter-blogit contest
I know I don't know everything, and I don't trust every non-American, or every American. I know that Dr. Khalidi doesn't hate America; he just wants to shift American foreign policy to benefit the Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and self-determination, and I happen to favor a balanced policy toward Israel and the Palestinians, though I don't expect much progress there until more of the Palestinians get more education. I seem to be less afraid of our enemies than you are because I think America is strong enough to defend itself in pretty much every way, including intellectually. I suppose in this I have something in common with Senator Obama; I can respect an intelligent man, and hear his arguments without fear. I don't have to declare that anyone who disagrees with me is my enemy, and that anyone who associates with him must necessarily be tainted. I can judge each person on her own merits, no matter whose parties she may have attended in years past.

Re: Inter-blogit contest
Davideskin- "I don't agree with a lot of what Mr. Khalidi has had to say about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict over the years, and Mr. Obama has made clear that he doesn't, either. But to compare the professor to neo-Nazis -- or even to Mr. Ayers -- is a vile smear."
You know, it is always amazing to me how liberals are so gullible! They seem to think that they know everything, they do not believe in God, they trust anyone who is non-American, etc. Do you understand that our enemies hate us and that includes you? Do you understand that they do not care how long it takes to defeat us? Do you understand that your way of life will then be eliminated from within by enemies? Do you even care? You can take so-called facts and analysis from the liberal media all you want but when our enemies have us on our knees how will you use facts and analyisis to defend your way of life? Do you think the Islam nation would look kindly on the atheistic belief? You probably would and yes you would have a point in that both the nation of Islam and yourselves do not believe in God! Of course I get it! I am way ahead of you! That is why I will fight in any ways that I need to in order to defend our way of life or at least our freedoms in this nation!

Re:
Could not agree with you more Mordent! You are absolutely correct! If Obama wins and the first day he is in the White House, he would raise the Iranian flag over the house then the media would say, "Oh, how sweet, he is so all inclusive, gee I hope they like us now, okay children sing the praises of our dictat.. err leader Obama!"

The left will find a way to rationalize the whole thing. The left could see obama smoking crack with Irans leader and they'd still vote for him.
They won't be swayed and will make excuses for any/everything. You'd at least think they'd wonder whose funding him.
