maybe you should be talking to others in the Middle Class -- not those like in the videos of those who have been duped by the bullshit shoveled to them by Republican twisters.

Re: Re: Here's a thought........
I have a corporation and I don't get a thing....you speak in way to many generalities....there are millions of corporations that are owned and operated by members of the "middle class"...

At least you don't say "working class" any more.....My "corporation" require me to work 24/7....anf I wouldn't trade places with anyone working for someone else......

You are truly of the "clueless"......I feel sorry for you.

Re: Here's a thought........

our system creates poverty

now if you are fine not being among the wealthiest of us, good for you

but the Middlle Class is shrinking and real income is not what it used to be.

All because corporations are given too much

Here's a thought........
Pick one and pack up and head there....it will be better for everyone concerned, don't you think?   Drop us a line and let us know when you realize our system, flawed as it may be, is the best thing going, and that you're coming back to the light...

Xeno-x - capitalism is a fine system, the best we have so far but it cannot

be left unbridled and unregulated.

If we have learned anything about human nature in the last century; it is that the ability to achieve and prosper by one's own efforts is the best system we have. Communism doesn't work, it stifles inherent human desire to achieve and excell by removing all rewards and motivation to do so. Still, with capitolism, the continued polarization of wealth within a society is inevitable. The rich get richer and by virtue of this process, eventually remove most of the means and ability for all others to get richer. All middle classes eventually evaporate with most of this demographic joining the ranks of the poor.

What would a new economic system for the US look like? Take your pick, looking at other economic systems of the developed countries, there are a number of prevailing themes amongst all of them. Social safety nets, financial regulation and universal health care being the most common.
