Re: to lionreign
Thanks, lionreign - you're right on it ... the contrast between feelings (heart) and thoughts (brain) - our time isn't the best one on behalf of feelings and sensitivity -

Hi, mysteria - yes, to know what to do all the time, there and then, isn't easy -

I so completely identify with this - it is so easy to lose connection to your feelings in favour of your thoughts and then things go completely to pot. Beautifully written - thank you

Re: to yellowrose55
Thanks, yellow, for your comment - I believe you ... yes, a road we have to go ... probably the best road to get a good education -

Re: to Sinome
Hi, Sinome - yes ... I see your point and agree from the point of being stuck in desirable things and, that can be hard to se and/or get out of ... but ... I also point at the tragedy when patterns from childhood make us do what we shouldn't do to each other ... as when pain from abuse urges our mind to act as a revenge; for getting a realease we're seeking deep in our subconsciousness. This way of being stuck is an issue that should be addressed as info, education, to children as well as adults -
- from other points of view I believe it's OK -

Re: to merkie
Hi, merkie ... the 'why' is maybe a conscious way of being so we sometimes can wake up and discover how lucky we are not to be stuck ALL the time ... only a part of the time ... now and then ? -

Re: gg - to Troosha
Thanks for your comment, Troosha - over and over again ... yes, you're right but ... still I often find myself clinging to an idea/thought e.g. connected to an experience in the past and ... it can be as a deadlock -
- what I mean is that I think being stuck is a habit we have because the fear of whatever pops up has to be under control ... and ... then I find an excuse to be stuck - see? - I use to disclose it and have learned to sense the signals (but) -

It is very hard to learn our lessons in life because usually we do not want to... the things that get us "stuck" are the things we want, the things we desire... and since we do want them we do not learn to say no. Eventually the realization sinks in that its a mistake and we learn finally not to do the same thing again and again. it will be OK gg... look at the nice poem being "stuck" inspired :-)

Sometimes we are waiting for another to release us being stuck. On we go again until we repeat the stuck feeling. I don't really know why.

gg
“Getting stuck in one’s head” with thoughts going round and round and losing our focus is so easy to do. Staying in tune with one’s intuition or emotion, albeit key to staying on course, is most definitely a challenge. And yet we do it over and over and over and over....
