Beautiful...
That is why people say when we are too emotional we should take a step back, count to ten, and let our brain take over for a moment.. It should give some balance to ourselves..

Sam this is truly wonderful.  Afzal is right, very profound and timeless... you are so talented ! Thank you for worrying about me.  I am fine and very glad to hear you are feeling better and things are falling into place.  I love you more though :-)

Hi Sis
Lovely question you pose and the language is brilliant. I'll copy-paste this as a reference for future. I need to do a lot of reflection on this. Very philosophical. Your bro s it.

I think it is true we are ambushed by our own emotions and sometimes misconceptions rule the ups and downs. We seem to need to experience both sides of the coin to proceed and follow the pathway needed to be ourselves. The result is trust learned by self love.

Shelly
Very perceptive, as always. And I definitely try to avoid the oxen of temperance, whenever I can...

How's it going sam?
Quite a quandary you pose here. Very familiar, unfortunately, but, I think it is part of the human condition...to greater or lesser degrees, depending on the person.
Just dropping in to thank you for visiting and to send you all my best.
I hope your sons are doing well. I don't know if you have any daughters.
Take care and I'll be around as time allows.

I think you should live in a buddhist temple. I think you could even give them something to think about.

Sam
INTENT:  If only we could stick to love to love,  CAUSE:  I think we’re all drawn to the fire or flame from time to time,  EFFECT:  Abandoning temperance in exchange for braving the new – always a good move.

Powerfully done, Sam!
When we mis-understand ourselves via our emotions, how can there be trust, freedom and peace anywhere we go, in anything we do.
